Wait! don’t go into your living room and take the living room table lamp and bring it into the kitchen just yet. Since you don’t want to overwhelm the kitchen counter and/or make the lamp seem out of place in the kitchen, you will want to select a smaller lamp for the kitchen. Not every style of lamp will fit, I would personally look for lamps with fabric shades or that fit the decor of the kitchen. Good luck!
This is one of the most creative table lamps out there since it not only plays the role of a lamp but also is in itself a small art installation. The copper base of the lamp stores a variety of lifelike birds inside and makes it look absolutely charming. It would be a great addition to any room that needs a touch of joy and color.
Any beginner woodworker has likely explored the idea of making a DIY lamp base. With designs like this geometric base from Pneumatic Addict, it is actually very easy for non-woodworkers to make a DIY wood lamp. The wonderful thing about this project is that there are very clear and concise plans to follow included in the tutorial.
When it comes to funky table lamps, this little Pac-Man ghost takes the cake. All of them. This lamp can glow in 16 different colors by itself when turned on. You can also switch it to "Party" mode and the change in color will depend on the level of sound that surrounds it. Powered by micro-USB.
